FAQ's

WILL YOU USE IMAGES FROM OUR EVENT ON THE GRAZING ZEBRA SOCIAL MEDIA?Yes, unless our customers explicitly ask us not to use images taken at their event we will use them across our platforms.
-
DO YOU CATER FOR EVENTS?Yes we can create bespoke grazing displays for small and large events. Please message us using the contact form, or email hello@thegrazingzebra.co.uk detailing your request, date, time and address. We will get back to you with availability and to confirm the price.
-
WHY DOES MY BOX/ PLATTER LOOK DIFFERENT FROM PHOTOS ON YOUR WEBSITE/SOCIAL MEDIA?Each order is uniquely handcrafted with seasonal and local fresh ingredients and therefore contents will vary, however the value of the order remains the same.
-
WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?Grazing Boxes and Platters require full payment at the time of booking. Grazing tables require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event, and you’ll receive an invoice with payment details.
-
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED FOR BOOKINGS?We kindly ask for 3 days notice please. But sometimes we can accommodate last minute orders so please send us and email at hello@thegrazingzebra.co.uk and we’ll let you know if we can accommodate your request.
-
HOW DO I STORE MY GRAZING BOX OR PLATTER?Our boxes and platters fit in most domestic fridges and they should be kept refrigerated and only taken out up to 1 hour before the consumption. It is the responsibility of the client to dispose of the food if not kept refrigerated after 4 hours to comply with UK food standards. By agreeing to our terms and conditions the client is agreeing to dispose of any food after this set time. We will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions to our food consumed after this time.
-
DO YOU CATER FOR ANY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS AND ALLERGENS?Please notify us before or at the time of booking of any allergies and dietary requirements. Please note that although great care and attention is always taken when handling food we cannot guarantee any of our food being suitable for those with allergies due to a high risk of cross contamination in our multi-ingredient kitchen. All of our boxes and platters come with allergen stickers highlighting which main allergens are present in your order. The Grazing Zebra cannot be held responsible for any adverse reactions to our food if we have not been forewarned of any allergies or dietary requirements prior to your order being received.
-
CAN YOU MAKE MY ORDER COMPLETELY ALLERGEN FREE (E.G. NUT FREE)?No. While we can ensure we attempt to avoid adding those specific ingredients, we cannot guarantee any form of allergy free. We work with all 14 main food allergens in our kitchen: celery, cereals containing gluten (such as wheat, barley and oats), crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters), eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs (such as mussels and oysters), mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites (if the sulphur dioxide and sulphites are at a concentration of more than ten parts per million) and tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts) and therefore any form of cross contamination could occur.
-
ARE YOU FULLY INSURED AND A REGISTERED FOOD BUSINESS?Yes, we are a fully insured and registered food business. We also have NCASS Safe Food Level 2 in Hygiene Training. We pride ourselves on having the best standards, ensuring the best produce and food handling.
-
WHAT'S YOUR FOOD HYGIENE RATING?Following an inspection from Peterborough Council we are proud to say we received a 5 Star Rating in February 2022.
-
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?We are unable to process cancellations. For any order changes such as a date, we can do this provided that we’ve got availability for your new date. Please contact us with all the details via email. Any large/bespoke orders require non-refundable deposit in order to secure your date/booking, this is normally 50% of the total value. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any refunds if you inform us of a cancellation. However, we may be able to offer a date change providing there is availability within our calendar. In the unlikely event of us having to cancel your booking you will be refunded the whole amount paid.
-
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?Due to the fresh nature of our boxes and platters, returns of perishable goods cannot be accepted. Should you have a query regarding the order you have received, please get in touch with us at hello@thegrazingzebra.co.uk within 3 hours of your delivery with images of the product received and briefly explaining what the query is.
